Widyawan & Partners advises PT Pamapersada Nusantara (PAMA), a subsidiary under the Jardine Group, on its acquisition of 40.476% of new shares issued by PT Supreme Energy Sriwijaya (SES), a company that focuses on the development of geothermal energy.
The subscription agreement was signed via PT Energia Prima Nusantara (EPN), a company owned by PT United Tractors (UNTR) and PAMA.
Established in 2014, EPN has focused its business on the development of renewable energy since 2018. Currently EPN has business portfolios in green energy such as the distribution and installation of solar photovoltaic systems, mini hydro power plant, and is continuing to develop in other energy sectors. This transaction represents an important milestone for EPN in acquiring its first geothermal asset.
